Getting to know your students isn’t just an icebreaker activity you do at the beginning of the year. The more data you and your students break down as it relates to their academic strengths and weaknesses, the deeper your relationships will go. Get to know your students in deep social and academic levels with data driven instruction. Show that you care about their favorite ice cream as well as how they are building their future selves in the here and now.
