Bookshare is an e-book library that makes reading easier for students with reading barriers like dyslexia, blindness, and physical disabilities. Members have access to more than 700,000 titles that are read on a wide variety of devices in ways that work for them: they can listen to books in audio, follow along with highlighted text, read in large type or Braille. Synchronized, highlighted text-to-speech increases comprehension and word recognition. Learn how this free resource can be implemented in your schools! Bookshare is funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs; Bookshare training is FREE through an award from TEA! Let’s get students learning to love reading with Bookshare!
