Kurzweil 3000 is a program that provides text-to-speech for basically ANY material whether digital, online, or only in hard print. Kurzweil allows users to import/open popular digital formats or scan physical print with any basic scanners or a built in device camera. Many K-12 schools and colleges use Kurzweil 3000 to accommodate student disabilities or special education departments who serve dyslexic, bilingual, vision or mobility impaired, and even general ed or AP college students.
